De Pere Living Bridge

Benign urban consciousness instigated this “pro-bono” design scheme. Why tear it down? When it could have alternative uses and propagate an ailing downtown searching for an identity.

The proposition is to convert a 70-year old vehicular bridge into a public/private real estate partnership. It would be a community based pedestrian and commercial link connecting the two downtowns of De Pere. The De Pere Living Bridge Foundation has since marketed these graphic materials to receive press in the New York Times, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, as well as local papers, TV and radio.
